High Performance is a locally owned lighting and power distribution service provider in Wilmington, North Carolina. Our Technical Engineer and Owner, Steve Peterson, founded the company in 2000 after spending over 20 years in the film and professional entertainment lighting industry.
We are committed to the events and wedding industry in the South-East Region and also will travel world-wide. As a result, we have been a part of some beautiful weddings with national publications, including Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Southern Weddings, Weddings Unveiled, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

We apply a variety of artistic illumination techniques. In other words, we use our decorative fixture suspensions, color filtering, pin spotting, uplighting, and graphic screen projection to therefore create multi-layered effects that will make your guests say “wow!”
